맥도날드 라디오 대학교 / McDonald’s Radio University
<맥도날드 라디오 대학교>는 도시 안의 맥도날드를 대학으로 탈바꿈하는 예술 프로젝트입니다. ‘교수’는 특정한 이유로 고국을 떠나게 된 이민자나 난민들이며, ‘학생’은 맥도날드에 방문하여 햄버거나 콜라와 함께 ‘교수’의 강의를 주문하여 수강할 수 있습니다. 울산시립미술관에서 선보이는 <맥도날드 라디오 대학교>는 맥도날드를 본뜬 전시공간에 지금까지 프랑크푸르트, 베를린, 도쿄, 가나자와, 홍콩, 브뤼셀에서 제작한 50과목 중에서 선정한 17과목의 음원을 제공합니다. 수업을 듣고자 한다면 QR코드를 스캔하여 웹사이트에 접속해 주세요.
“McDonald’s Radio University” is a project that transforms branches of McDonald’s restaurants across a city into lecture spaces, creating a citywide university. The professors are immigrants or refugees who have had to leave their home countries, and the students are people who walk into a McDonald’s and order a lecture along with a burger and a coke.
“McDonald's Radio University" at the Ulsan Art Museum introduces 17 lectures selected from 50 lectures produced so far in Frankfurt, Berlin, Tokyo, Kanazawa, Hong Kong and Brussels. To listen to the lectures, please scan the QR code to access the website.

1969년 생. 2002년 연극 유닛 Port B(포트 비)를 결성. 실제 도시를 활용한 설치미술, 투어 퍼포먼스, 사회실험 프로젝트 등, 현실의 도시나 사회에 개입하는 활동을 세계 각지에서 선보이고 있다. 최근에는 미술, 관광, 문학, 건축, 도시 연구와 같은 다른 분야와의 협업으로 활동 영역을 넓혀, 연극적 발상과 사고를 통한 다양한 장르에서의 가능성 개척에 주목하고 있다.
Akira Takayama
Born in 1969. In 2002, he formed the theater company Port B, and since then has been producing installations, touring performances and social experiments utilizing urban spaces as a way of engaging with cities and societies across the world. In recent years, collaboration with those from other fields including visual art, tourism, literature, urban planning, and education has been the scope of his practice which has been broadening further, and he has applied his theatrical thoughts to opening up new possibilities in a variety of fields.
